The 2024 Impact Report proves that the work we do at BfE matters

Snapshot of numbers from the 2024 Impact Report

BfE was founded on the premise that social entrepreneurs may be one of the most viable responses to economic and social inequalities, environmental sustainability, access to education, healthcare, food security, affordable housing, digital inclusion and mental well being, because they leverage creative solutions to solve longstanding problems. Over the last 10 years, we have continued in this mission to support social entrepreneurs in transforming their local communities because we still believe social entrepreneurs can build a better world.

In 2024, we supported 20 new startups from 15 countries in the developing world. 86% of the social enterprises we supported were fully satisfied by the outcomes of our Incubation Programme and 90% of the startups say they will recommend BfE to others. Mountain Hazelnuts, one of the startups we supported in 2024, has gone on to make more impact in Bhutan, and is expanding to other countries in Asia. Read the full impact report here.

BfE is growing!

To further deepen our impact, we are piloting two new university-based chapters, in Chicago with University of Chicago students, and in Ghana with Ashesi University students. The Ghana chapter will mark our first chapter on the African continent, illustrating our intent to further strengthen our work where it's needed most. Stay in touch to track our progress.
